This page explains what threeseal.com stores in your browser and what it measures, and how to change your choice at any time.

Your choice comes first

When you first visit, we ask whether we may measure your visit. Until you answer, nothing is stored for analytics and nothing is sent. You can change your answer at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

What we store in your browser

  • ts.consent: your answer (accept or decline). Strictly necessary, so that we do not ask again on every page.
  • ts.device and ts.session: a random identifier and the time of your current visit. Stored only if you accept, and deleted if you decline later.
  • um2: if you play the browser version of the game at /play, your progress and settings. Necessary for the game to remember you; it never leaves your browser.

These are stored with your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, but we treat them in the same way.

What we measure if you accept

If you accept, the site sends our analytics provider Amplitude, Inc. (United States) the pages you view, the buttons you press (for example Play now or a language switch), how far you read a journal entry, your language, the website that sent you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. We use it only to understand how people find and use the site and the game. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.

If you accept, the browser game at play.sealduel.com also sends anonymous gameplay statistics (for example a duel started, a round result or a duel finished). If you decline, it sends nothing.

What our server records

When your browser requests a page, our web server keeps a standard access log entry (IP address, browser type, page requested and time). We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working.

The Three Seals app

The iPhone, iPad and Android app does not use cookies. It sends anonymous gameplay statistics that you can turn off in Menu › Anonymous stats, as described in the Privacy Policy.
